Kimberly Malandra graduated from Widener University, Summa Cum Laude with a doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2008. In addition to achieving the highest awards in both academic and clinical excellence, Kimberly also obtained a certificate in health & wellness promotion.
Practicing for over 14 years in the outpatient/orthopedic setting, she provides quality care with concentrations in sports medicine and manual therapy. Kimberly’s passion for the field and compassion for her patients drives her one-on-one treatments utilizing evidence-based research. Continuing education is critical to lifelong learning and allows comprehensive treatment styles. Specializing in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) approach to the spine and extremities has accelerated patients to their goals. Other certifications and course work include Titleist Performance Institute Medical 2 (TPI-M2), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Active Release Technique (ART), Postural Restoration (PRI), Functional Movement Screen (FMS/SFMA), and Sportsmetrics, which is the first, scientifically-proven ACL injury reduction program. Dr. Malandra has been Direct Access certified since 2010, treating patients of all different ages and abilities, with a focus on providing care of “A Higher Standard.”
In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her friends/family, husband and young daughters, Emilia & Siena.
